Baby Name Poll Results
Need some help vs. Please :)
Well, as you can see my little darling is not letting me sleep tonight and out of boredom I have stumbled upon this site, which is actually pretty awesome! I’ve been needing some name advice, but I don’t know how to ask the people I know without them feeling offended. I am a teen mother and I’m really worried about picking the right name for my daughter. There are so many girls around here with babies that are named Kenley, Kori, etc and when I see/hear them I think wow that’s definitely something a teen mom would use. I don’t want people to think that when they hear my daughters name. Do you have any suggestions for names that aren’t too plain, but don’t sound silly or too out there? Thank you so much, Alicia and Reece

These names are all on my favourites list.
Sorry its quite long. I think if you want to stay away from the "teen mom-ness" you should go for more traditional names.
Id like my daughters name to begin with A, so all i have is a list of A names, but i hope it helps

First of all let me applaud your maturity and your wish to go against teen mom stereotypes!
As far as names go, I think the lists in the previous commentaries are quite exhaustive. However, it would help if you could give some pointers for names you already like?

I also want to say you seem very mature and very nice! and I give you the best of luck!
like any????? try to stay on the traditional side more with maybe a spunky MN!
I like names that a girl can grow into in becoming a woman. Karli or Kinley or all those names might be fine while they are five, but what if you’re an adult and a lawyer? So my conditions for naming a girl (if I ever get to - we seem to be an all-male household here) are: 1)nothing cutesy 2)nothing that is a flower, city, or a weather event 3)nothing that sounds like a last name or a boy name. I think if a name you have in mind passes that test, it won’t sound like a teen mom. Good luck!
A great way to find a good name is to look into ancestory find out your great granmothers/fathers full names and if any strike you, go with those.
some more names thats you hardly hear for babies anymore are
just a few suggestions Good luck
I love the name Estella and you can call her Stella for short.
