Uncommon vs. But vs. Easy
Hey, I know the title seems kind of silly but it all makes sense! My husband loves the idea of using a Biblical name, however we have agreed that we don’t want to use the overly common ones. The issue though is that all of the ones we like think are a bit complicated and long, and we already have a long and complicated last name. Can you think of any Biblical names that are more on the shorter side and easy to say/spell but still are on the more uncommon side? Thank you! -Claire and Connor (& baby!)
The Top Baby Name is...
Cain and Asher are two great uncommon-ish biblical names!
We like Asher a lot! Cain isn’t bad either, but since both of our names start with C, we don’t want to use a C name so we don’t start a theme.
We like Elias and Micah a lot! We are also looking for girl names as well
We’re not liking Seth or Isaac! Sorry!
We like Asher, Ezra, Micah, Levi, and Jude a lot! Not loving any of the girl names though sorry!
We like Gideon a lot!
We like Adah (though we’re not crazy about the H at the end) a lot!
We aren’t liking any of those boy names! Sorry!
Ada instead of Adah??
Ada, Noa, Hadassah, Jael, Yael
Eliel, Yeshua, Yosef
We like Ada/Adah, Elias, Ezra, Levi, and Jude a lot! Girl names seem to be the struggle for us! A lot of them are just too common or we just don’t like the sound of them.
Two girl names we liked (but are not using) are Talitha and Zipporah if that gives a better idea of what we are looking for!
BOY: Asher, Levi, Aaron, Samuel, Gabriel, Luke, Mark
GIRL: Bethany, Ruth, Esther, Naomi, Leah
