I’ve seen Oakley on boys, too. They’re both nice for a boy. If it’s for a girl, Oakley would be better.

I was just gonna ask that... boy or girl?

Oakley could never be a girl name lol. My vote goes to Oakley but I’m biased because my best friend named her boy Oakley and he is sooo handsome. GL!

I don’t like Gannon at all. I have only heard Oakley used on girls. But out of the two, I guess I’d choose Oakley. Good luck =)

Uh yeah. Oakley is a girl name. I like Gannon and Garrett for boys. Garrett Ryder or Gannon Ryder are cute!

The name is basically even for boys and girls. I love it for a boy though.

Thank you for the suggestion. I’m a little nervous with the name Ryder though

Oakley is awesome! I know some people who picked Oakley for their baby without knowing the gender. He turned out to be a boy and the name fits him really well.

Aw! Thats awesome! I could see Oakley go either way but I would probably prefer it for a boy! (:

I am agreeing with the person who suggested RYDER and i just want to tell you poster, that Ryder is a great name. My sons name is Ryder he will be 6yrs old in 2 months and my husband is a pro dirt bike motocross racer and trails hes been racing his whole life and Ryder is rambuctious and outdoorsy and has always been fast even when he started crawling and new how to walk in 8 months.... anyways what im trying to say is Ryder is a great name!!! Just have some background to the family and it wont sound stupid like most people JUDGE as if they were to name a girl ’rider’ amd she grows up to be a stripper. RYDER IS A GREAT NAME FOR A BOY!!!!! : )
We went with Ryder Wesley (passed down middle name)
We call him Wes (pronounced Wessss.) Not ’wez’
