Truth vs. About vs. Caelum?

I am due this Saturday and I am starting to freak out a bit. I posted months ago (Caelum vs Silas if you want to look it up) and recieved the lovely comfirmation that Caelum is the perfect name for my son since both our names would be constellations. I still love the idea of us both being "written in the stars" but when I slipped the name to my best friend she tore it up and said "I feel sorry for him" and laughed! I’m hurt but more focused on finding out the truth. Is it horrid? Does it look like a "younger" choice? It is pronounced Sigh-lum. What are you really thinking? Any other handsome unpopular celestial names not including Leo? Please help!!!-Carina

Genie's Mailbag

Emma in Western Australia
We have a boy named Tyler James and a girl named Gypsie Jade. Expecting our 3rd, which is a boy. I'm in love with the name Olly, but my partner thinks Gypsie and Olly are unique names and Tyler is not, so it won't feel right. So he wants an ordinary name. Please help with something unique but ordinary.
Baby Name Genie:
In the space between unique and ordinary is a special category of names I think of as "antiques." They are familiar and well-used names that are not widely in use these days. For your son, I give you Oscar Jude - a perfectly ordinary, unique name.
