Laydyn makes me think of "laden with fruit..." or some reference to getting laid, etc. I think Sarah is a lovely name, but I prefer Sara.

I like Sarah better then Laydyn. LayDyn reminds me of the same as previous poster, also like Lay down.

Sarah Laydyn is ok though.

Thanks! Laydyn will be in her name for personal reasons but Sarah/Sara is not set. We do prefer a biblical name though, we also love Hannah Laydyn, Abigail Laydyn, What do you think of Isabella Laydyn or Olivia Laydyn?

Definitely use Laydyn as a middle name, not as a first name.

Laydyn sounds like "lay down" and will have negative connotations when she’s a teenager.

Leighton or Layton sound a little better but still give a similar sound.
