Boston (girl) vs. Bostyn (girl) vs. Boston (boy)

My wife and I are pregnant! We are not telling you the gender because we feel it may effect the way people see the name on a sex. We absolutely love the name Boston but are worried it is seen to manly or feminine. Please tell us for what gender you can see a little kid being named Boston! Thanks!

I think Boston is cute on a boy, but downright terrible on a girl.

Good for a boy, bad for a girl.

I can see it on a girl because it reminds me of the name London which goes on girls! But I don’t like the Bostyn spelling, just Boston.

I love it for both! This name is also on both my name lists. I would do Boston either way! GL

I would consider the parents of a female Boston to be idiots.

Boy. Too manly for a girl.

IF it were a name, it would be for a boy without a doubt.
City names like London and Boston are typically pretty stupid, though.
