Thoughts vs. On Colton?
I’ve always considered the name Colton for my son. I just want to know what other people think. I guess people can pronounce it differently? I say Colt-tin, but some say it with the strong O sound which I don’t like. I don’t know how to describe it. How would you say it and what do you think of the name?

I have a cousin named Colton. I don’t know, to me Colton sounds straight up country--probably because it reminds me of Colt firearms.

I probably pronounce it slightly closer to Cole-ton instead of Cole-tin, but it’s pretty close and most of the time, you won’t hear a difference. I like the name! Sounds strong and handsome.
