We love this name for our baby girl, but people keep telling us that it’s so old fashioned and plain. I think that may be a reason I’m drawn to it, simply because people don’t use it much anymore. What do you think of Katherine Brielle?

I think it’s lovely. You’ve got elements of the more classic (Katherine) and the more modern (Brielle). It’s about a perfect balance imo.

I love Katherine although I prefer spelt with the C! I’m not too fond of Brielle but it’s not horrible :)

We are not dead set on using the K, that’s just the way I happened to type it. So which way looks best, Katherine Brielle or Catherine Brielle? I like the K better I think, and hubby is in the middle.

Well being that I said about the C I’m biased and think it looks better but ultimately it’s up to you it’s still a lovely name which ever letter you use :)

I think the name Katherine is stunning and classic, especially spelled with a ’K’. I think Katherine Brielle is really pretty and sweet.

I love Katherine (I think K is strong and spunky and C is more elegant and refined), it’s a classic name with good nickname options. I’m not as big of a fan of Brielle, it seems more modern than old-fashioned to me, but middle names aren’t particularly important since we almost never use them, anyway.

^but the ’C’ spelling is also really pretty and sweet too. Go with the name and the spelling you love the most, whether its with a ’C’ or a ’K’ the name is gorgeous.

I think the first name is cute because you can nickname her kat or cat like in the movie casper. Katrina is pretty too. Watch sleepy hollow with johnny depp it grows on you:)

Thanks everyone! We’re not planning on a nickname, if one suits her then we’ll use it. We’re liking the Katherine spelling better and the more we look at the name and say it aloud, the more we love it!
