I always thought Dylan was pronounced "die-lan." Then I was sadly disillusioned :( and I don’t like it anymore. Are there any names that sound like that?

I like the long I sound too. My son’s name is Tyghe. (pronounced TIYG) the g is hard.

I grew up with a guy names Dylan that pronounced his name as you prefer. It can be pronounced both ways.
