Briar vs. Girl? vs. Boy?

Hello! I had my little girl two weeks ago and I called her Briar. Today I went on this site and I noticed another woman’s poll using the name Briar on a boy. I thought Briar was primarily a boys name? With the whole "Briar Rose" Sleeping beauty theme. My daughters name is Briar Esmé by the way! But what do you think? Do you think boy or girl when you hear the name? (Ps when I made my poll back a few months ago no one commented that Briar was also used on boys, so up until now I was completely clueless) Thankyou!
Which baby name is best?
 Briar
 Girl?
 Boy?

We have a boy named Tyler James and a girl named Gypsie Jade. Expecting our 3rd, which is a boy. I'm in love with the name Olly, but my partner thinks Gypsie and Olly are unique names and Tyler is not, so it won't feel right. So he wants an ordinary name. Please help with something unique but ordinary.
Baby Name Genie:
In the space between unique and ordinary is a special category of names I think of as "antiques." They are familiar and well-used names that are not widely in use these days. For your son, I give you Oscar Jude - a perfectly ordinary, unique name.
