I hate to say any name is "teen mom" but this one screams teen mom to me.

This sounds extremely low-class and uneducated. No one who could afford a Bentley would name their kid Bentley.

I do see the appeal of this name as it is cute and modern, but I think you need to ask yourself if it would age well. you could use...

I would use something like Bellamy Rose instead. It gives her something different with cute nickname options (Bell, Amy) without being so popular on the boys.

This one is very teen mom on boys. On a girl it’s way worse.

Bellamy is okay but isn’t there a band called that? Besides then it sounds like her name means beautiful friend rose/flower. ~Poster

It’s not at all attractive. Bentley is never a good name for any child, regardless of gender, and it sounds utterly trashy.

You can’t hear the name Bentley without thinking of the car. It is not classy to name a little baby after an expensive car.
If you’re attached to expensive car names, try these:
Mercedes Rose.
A better choice because Mercedes is a Spanish name meaning "Mercies," and was a classic woman’s name (after the Virgin Mary de las Mercedes) for generations before it was a car.
Portia Rose: Pronounced like the car ("Porsche") it is a classic name from Shakespeare in the Merchant of Venice.
Either choice would give your child’s name more dignity and history - so your baby is not "just" named after a car.

We aren’t basing her name after the car, we think it is beautiful and don’t even think of the car. Sorry I don’t like Portia and Mercedes sounds young. ~Poster

Bentley is a weird name. Don’t use it at all. Ever.

In the UK, calling someone "bent" means that that person is homosexual. Wouldn’t name my child Bentley just because of that, but I also find it incredibly tacky to name a living human being after a hunk of metal, however expensive it may be.

I think Bentley could work for a girl. It’s a girlier version of Benjamin, really. Any name that ends with a "ley" or "lyn" sound sounds girly to me.
