Layla vs. Popularity
Ok so I think I’m the opposite of everyone else and want my daughter to have a popular, normal name. I have a very unique name and everyone says it’s pretty but I hate that it makes me stand out . That being said, I’m considering the name Layla Jane for my daughter. This is my top choice for now. We live in CA and we are caucasian. What do you think? Does the name Layla stand out too much or would you consider it a normal name?

I think it’s just right, popular, but not crazily popular, definitely not too unique, and I also like the spelling Layla best. Jane makes a great mn. Love Layla Jane, very sweet.

Statistics have shown that children with normal names thrive and succeed better than children with odd/unique names. Layla Jane is gorgeous.
