Edward Michael vs. Edward Mitchell vs. Edward Matthew

We have a daughter, Ava Katie, 7, and are expecting a son, whom we shall name Edward. We have not yet decided on his middle name, and would like your advice as to which direction to go. They are all nice names but I feel like Mason is a bit too trendy to pair with the more classic Edward while Michael and Matthew may be just a bit too common as middle names.Mitchell is the perfect compromise.Traditional enough to fit wonderfully with Edward but yet different enough to add some punch!
