Question about vs. Kelan?

I love the name Kelan (Kellan/Kellen) for a boy, but my sister in law’s name is Kelly (and is sometimes called Kell as a nickname). I adore my sister in law, and we’re all very close, so not like there would be any negative connotations, BUT would it be weird for Kelly to have a nephew named Kelan? Thanks so much, we’re really stuck on this one!

I would spell it with a C (which I prefer anyway) Cellan. Callan is nice too.

I think it’s okay.

It should be ok. I would consider running it by her first if you think it could be an issue :)

I think it’s too close, positive connotations or no. I’d find something else.

I think if you love the name then you should use it!
