I like it I think it’s a very pretty name but you have to be aware that it’s very tightly connected to the twilight Franchise and that’s more then likely the first association people will make with the name.

To tell you the truth, I’m not a fan of Esme but it could be worse. I’m not sure how to pronounce it and I’m sure others might have a hard time as well. Your child will be spelling her name and pronouncing it constantly for others. It’ll drive her insane. If you really like it, maybe use it as a middle name.
