Skylar Corynn vs. Skyler Corynn

So my question is.. Does Skylar (my preferred spelling) sound okay with Buckler or does it clash with ending in ar/er? We would call her Skye. Please give us feed back! Sharon & Corey

Skylar definitely does not go well with Buckler. Sounds pretty bad to be honest. It’s the lar/ler sound.

Don’t listen to first comment. It clashes horribly.

I don’t think it sounds that great, but it could be a whole lot worse. So if you love it, I think you could still use it. But what about Skyla Buckler? Or if you are only going to call her Skye anyway, why not just Skye Buckler?

Agree with last person do Skyla or just Skye. The ler/lar is just a bit much IMO. Good Luck!

I don’t think it sounds bad. I prefer Skylar over Skyla. And if she goes by Skye, Skye Buckler is beautiful.

I don’t think it’s to bad. I’d go with he spelling with the "ar" however to make it less matchy. I also really like skyla as a name and it won’t look matchy at all

I think it does clash - too repetitive. I would just use Skye. If you do go with Skyler, I prefer the "er" spelling.
