Madelyn Claire vs. Mary Claire

I’m down to these 2 girl names for my baby!! Mary happens to be the name of both grandmas. Madelyn has been my favorite name for a long time, before the popularity. My dilemna, go with the most popular name of the 20th century - Mary. Or go with one of the most popular names in the last decade. Hmmm, Please HELP me decide. I am a big believer in family names and I feel like Mary Claire just flows better.

ok...i feel like Mary Claire sounds like one full first name. Madelyn is a beautiful name and i think Mary is dated.
