Noam vs. yes vs. no

Noam is a modern Hebrew name and is also a place is south Israel. The only problem I am having is that it is too similar to Noah and I’m concerned it might be mistaken for it. What do you think of this name and do you think the popularity of Noah is problematic? Thanks for voting or commenting~ Ruth

I know a 7 year old Noam - admittedly through Jewish circles - but I think it’s fine.
I think that it’s distinct enough from Noah for people to not assume it’s a typo, and it’s close enough to Noah that people will know how to say it.

This name does sound better than Noah, but it’s unfortunately associated with the hideous Noam Chomsky.
