What’s vs. Your opinion vs. On Harris/son?

I like this name and I like Henry (doesn’t go with last name) so I thought Harrison was lovely since Harry is a nickname for Henry. I’ve met both a Harris and Harrison (4 years younger than I and my own age). Do you like this name? Would Henry/Harris be a good nickname? Do you prefer Harris or Harrison?

I like the name Harrison, but I hate Harris, does Henry really clash that much with your last name?? Because Henry is by far my favorite...also, if you plan to use Henry as a nickname, he will probably be called that with his last name in school, so if it does not clash badly, I’d go with Henry anyway....it’s rare that a first name and last name will clash terribly, it usually takes time to get used to and then it will seem fine

Harrison is so much better than Harris. And Henry is super cute too. NO to Harris, YES to Harrison.

I think Henry is too far-fetched as a nickname for Harrison, but I like it better than Harris

I love Harrison! Very masculine and strong sounding. If you call him Henry some might go as far as to creating a nickname for Henry (Hank). Good luck!

My last name is almost Malley (Mal-EE). It just has a few extra letters in between. So basically it would be Henry Malley.

My husband goes by Joey (Joseph) and I don’t even like that.

It doesn’t clash as much you say it does. Harrison does sound nicer w/ your last name but I much prefer Henry. Harris is not so good.

I would pick Harris.But i wouldn’t give him either nick name.Make hi name just Harrison.No nickname
