3 boys at once! vs. Well sort of.. vs. Can you help us?

Hello. My name is Lillian. My husband and I have one daughter, Ella. We are pregnant with twin boys, and I am 36 weeks, so we could have them any day. We also recently experienced some heartbreak in our family. My husband’s sister was a single mother to a 2 month old, and she was killed in a car accident. Her son has been left to come in our care. After all the paperwork is filled, we will get him next week. We are debating whether or not to change his name. His name is Jaxon Brock. We will love him as our own regardless, but I feel his name may not fit in with our kids names, as we have a different name style. So, we have a list. Seeing as he is only 2 months, we know it wont affect him, but we are just curious as to what you think. Jaxon can stay, but it was only an idea. I will leave our list, and can you suggest names for the twins, as well as a suggestion for Jaxon. Thank you. Hope you all help soon.

I would keep his name as it was the name his mother gave him and it will be his link to her. You could always nickname him Jack. I think that goes with Ella.

Oh wow. Thats so sad. I would leave his name Jaxson. That will leave his name as a way for him to remember his mother. Since Jaxson will not ever remember being with his mother while she was cc alive, his name can become the way that he conects with her. Jaxson also sounds fine with Ella.

Maybe Jackson Brock? I get what you mean about it not fitting, however, it is the name she gave him.

Ella, Jackson, Owen and Connor would be cute!

How do you even pronounce Jaxon?

I wouldn’t change how his name sounds, but if it really bothers you, maybe you could change the spelling to Jackson to make it a bit more traditional? For your twins, I like:

Alexander (nn Alec or Andy?)
Benjamin
Connor
Declan
Geoffrey
Owen
Patrick
Ryan
Samson
Thomas

The rest are fine, except for the overly-trendy Caden, Ryland, and Mason. Also like Jack, but it’s too close to Jaxon.

I think Jaxon goes well with Ella and I think his name provides a nice link to his mother. So, I don’t think you should change his name!

For the twin boys, I like Declan and Ross.

Jackson would go better. I don’t like Brock, so maybe Brody? Jackson Brody? For the twins, Owen and Zachary. That way, Ella and Owen will both be 4 letters, and Jackson and Zachary will both have 7. Ella, Jax/Jack, Zach, and Owen.

Keep his name as Jaxon Brock - it is his link to his birth mother. It goes well w/ Ella.

As for the twins:
Hudson Elliot
&
Samson Cooper

Condolences & blessings to your family.

Yeah that would be a big slap in the face to his mother if you change his name the second she dies. It’s not like your daughter is Evangelina and his name is Khaiyse, that would be two very different styles. Ella and Jaxon are both common, overused, two syllable names. It would be so disrespectful to the mom and your husbands family to change his name because you think you are now his parents. You’re still his aunt and uncle, now you are just raising him.

I don’t know why I wasted my time saying that because this poll is, without a doubt, fake.
