Jill vs. Yes vs. No
We have 4 kids named Jana, Jewel, Jacob, Jessa, and Jackson, all of the time we get asked if our kids are named after the Duggars (even though not all of our kids have the same names as the Duggars). Now we are in love with the name Jill, 3 of the duggar girls are names Jill, Jana, and Jessa, we don’t want it to look like we’re coping them any more than it looks. Should we name her Jill or look for another J name? This will be our last child so we want the perfect name! Thanks! ~Jackie, Justin and our kids

Anyway, yes, I think if you name a girl Jill, it will sound like you are taking names from the Duggar family. I can’t stand those people, but that’s another story.

I personally don’t like Jill. I find it boring and dated. But if I saw all your kids names, I wouldn’t assume they were named after the Duggars, but that could very well be because I don’t know much about them. I suppose if you were a fan or knew a lot about them you’d make the connection, otherwise you’d just think it’s a J theme.
