Should I Risk It vs. ?

I really want to name my daughter a unisex name but at the same time I am scared to do it because of how badly people react to them. Is it worth taking the risk? Thanks Maya

Our daughter’s name is Parker. Everyone loves it. If you find a name you like, go ahead! Elliex

No, unless it used to be a girl name and also used on a lot of boys, then it wouldn’t matter. Like Taylor, Bailey, Eden, Elliot, etc.

I think it’s really in bad taste and won’t age well.

Depends on the name. Peyton, Riley, Taylor so on are usable. Ryan, Noah, Kyle aren’t.

Your daughter deserves a beautiful name (like you have).

I want to name her Jordan

No, I would pick a name that won’t go out of date so fast and will age well. These unisex names seem to fit better on pets than people, and tend to sound juvenile.

Jordan is fine, imo, I think it’s the names that are legit boy names (not at all unisex) that drives people crazy.

No its not worth the risk, honestly its low class to do that. Nearly all unisex names are boys names in truth.

People only react badly to them online it seems. I know many people who have unisex names and they don’t get nearly as much grief as people on here seem to think. People aren’t likely to make negative comments to your face, and if they do, who cares? Maybe they have kids with gender specific names that you find hideous...
