Noa vs. okay for girls vs. not okay

To the person who posted in my poll about Micah for girls....Noah is being used for boys and girls. I know a girl named Noa spelled this way but it is pronounced the same. There was a female in the bible named Noa. Also I heard that Billy Ray Cyrus has a daughter named Noah spelled just like the boys. Do you guys think it is okay to name a girl Noa spelled this way? What do you think?

What about Chenoa and have Noa as a nn. I think Noah is a nice name for either sex like Logan, Morgan, etc.

i like it but i prefer it spelled Noa,just so that you can distinguish whether it’s a boy or a girl when you read it, and you can use Micah for girls but i prefer Micha (mee-sha instead or mee-cah). but as for Noa i think it’s very unique and i think you should name your daughter this before it becomes too popular

sorry that should have been mee-sha instead OF mee-cah

I think Noah should be left for boys ONLY. Hearing that there are girls named it has really put me off it.

Noa without the H is a legitimate girl’s name. Noa was one of five daughters whose story is told in the Book of Numbers. A completely separate story from Noah and the ark. Also, in hebrew the names Noa and Noah are pronounced differently.

It’s a beautiful name for a girl.
