Harriet vs. Hattie vs. Another full name for Hattie?
We have one daughter, Coraline Amelia, and we like Hattie for one of our twins, if we have a girl. I don’t really care for Harriet, but we love Hattie. What do you think?

I think Hattie needs a longer name. I remember from yesterday all of your other kids had long full names

The only one I can think of is Hadassah with the nickname Haddie instead of Hattie. GL

I would just name her Hattie. It’s a cute name on its own!
What about Hadley, nn Haddie?
Or Hadley Theresa nn Hattie

We only have one daughter, Coraline. But we are expecting twins.
I would love to give Hattie a longer name, but I really just don’t care for Harriet. She would probably never be called that.. Does Hattie need a longer name that bad that I should give her a name I don’t really like?

I don’t care for Harriet either. I’d just go with Hattie. Give her a longer middle name that doesn’t sound like a nickname at all though.

Here’s the thing. you can name her Hattie but I would also give the twin a short name also. I wouldn’t go with Hattie and Elisabeth which I believe was one of your options yesterday. that just seems unbalanced

Our boy names are Theodore and Hudson. But yes, that’s why I did a poll yesterday to see if we should name Baby Girl B Elsie or Elisabeth.

I do feel like Hattie sounds very nickname-ish, but Haddison (which I don’t even think is a name) is the only thing I can think of that Hattie could be short for.
