Uncommon vs. Girl vs. Names

My name is Emily and I spent my whole life being Emily C which drove me crazy! I don’t want my daughter to have to go by her last initial, I wan her to have a unique and beautiful name but still not unheard of. So far our list had the names Cambria, Avia, Cecily, Sariah, Clarissa, and Danica. We would like to hear some of your suggestions for our daughters name! Please suggest names that are beautiful and uncommon! Thanks so much for your help and good luck! Emily

I understand exactly what you mean by the last initial thing. I’ve always been Abby R. or Abby-blonde or Abby-blue shirt and it drives me crazy too! My children will not have popular names. From your list, I really love Cecily and Avia. They are perfect if you want something recognizable but not in the top 1000.

My name is Riley and there was no one in my class with that name. I see it as a very feminine name! I love Danica! I had a friend named Danika and she was the only Danika I knew! I prefer the spelling of Danica but I just love the name in general.
