WDYT of vs. the name vs. Shoshana?

Shoshana is a name of Hebrew origin and means lily or rose. I really like it for some strange reason; but not a lot of people I know like the name that much. Thoughts?

I would never use it myself, so your welcome to it.

I don’t link it, sorry. I just think it’s a bit weird and hard to pronounce. If you like the meaning then you can’t go wrong with Lily. I think Lily Susanna would be nice.

I think it’s gorgeous! It’s also uncommon and exotic-sounding, without being too "out there." And Annie S., stop it with your holier-than-thou attitude.

Even though it is an actual name, it just sounds madeup. It also feels like the parent was trying too hard to name their daughter something different. I just couldn’t take this name seriously.

I’ve always liked the name Shoshana. It’s very pretty and unique.

Also to Annie- it’s "you’re" when you are combining the words "you" and "are". Thought I’d help you out :)
