Henry vs. ?
My husband wants to name our son Henry after is grandfather, I do really like the name but our other son is George after his other grandfather and I feel it’s a bit onesided. What do you think?

I think if you feel it’s one sided, you should use a first name from your family tree (or just a name you love). Your husband ought to understand... Henry is nice though and goes well with George. Maybe use Henry for a middle name?

I agree you can pick a name from your side you like and a member you would want to honor. I think it also matters how close you are to each family. My kids are all named after my family members as we are not at all close to my husbands family so we wouldn’t name a kid after anyone on his side.

I think Henry is absolutely adorable. But if you don’t like it, or feel that it’s somehow unfair, find another name.
