I find Iris to be a similar yet less harsh alternative. Iris Elena or Iris Annabelle would be gorgeous! Hate Isis.

My baby’s name is Isis; how it seems "harsh" is beyond me, but hey, to each his own. Everyone who learns my daughter’s name says it’s beautiful. And it’s the name of a Goddess...how can you go wrong with that?
Anyway, back to the topic; helping you pick a name...I like Isis Rose. I almost gave Isis the middle name, Rose, but picked Nicole instead. I had my son & daughter pick names out of hats and Nicole was the winner. Good luck.
