Kaitlyn Alexandra Claire vs. Kaitlyn Alexandra Paige vs. Kaitlyn Alexandra Faith

I’ve been getting mixed opinions on my names Katie and Kaitlyn. I had previously liked the name Katie with Emily, Alyssa and Sophie/Sophia however I know feel that it doesn’t go very well with them but Kaitlyn does. The trouble is is that I have a cousin named Cailin, I’m not sure if this would be a problem or not. People have suggested using Kaitlyn nn Katie, as nice as that is I’m not a fan of nicknames and its one or the other. I also love all 3 2nd middle names but their starting to lose their appeal, if you like a particular name please given reasons why otherwise please suggest some other possible middle names.

What do you prefer about Katie? Also what makes this combo so special? I love all these names but like I said the 2nd middle names are starting to lose their appeal.

Kaitlyn is such a copout name!! When a mom names her baby Kaitlyn/Kayla, etc, to me it screams, "had no time to pick a name, so I just grabbed the most generic name possible, and called it a day!" Your baby girl deserves a super special name. If Kaitlyn is that special to you, then use it. Otherwise, PICK something different!! I much prefer Catherine, nn Cate, spelled like this. Katie as a nickname sounds cheap generic too. GL.

Due to not liking nicknames I will not be using Catherine as it is my name. I will also be using a double middle name as its family tradition. Both Katie and Kaitlyn are a spin of my name so a lot of thought has gone into them. As for picking something different, there are a lot of names that I love but only as middle names. As for first names I have trouble finding any that I love and won’t lose interest in.
