Tyson vs. Yes vs. No

I’m just starting to throw around some boy names and Tyson is at the top of my list. I want to know what you think of Tyson. Do you automatically think of Mike Tyson or Tyson Chicken? I want a name that’s not overly common. Thanks for helping, Paige

I’ve never been a huge fan of the name Tyler, personally. Even though where I live it is not a very popular name.

I love it and that’s what I’m wanting to name my son, but didn’t get good feedback on my polls about it either. I love it! Here are some other names I love:
Jonas
Clark
Davis
Harris
Anders
Rhett
Hayes
Hanes
Duke
Pierce
Preston
Hudson
Pierson
Bryson

Those are all names I’ve used or considered, I like unique names too.

I love the name Tyson. It’s handsome and sweet all in one. Mike Tyson and Tyson Chicken didn’t come to my mind even if it did I say use since many names have associations and people still use them. I think Tyson is a great name.

I think of Mike Tyson also sorry. I don’t think it’s a sweet sounding name, it sounds thug-ish to me.

Love the name! I don’t think of Mike Tyson and in a few more years I don’t think others will either. I have known other boys with that name but not many.

Mike Tyson is the first thing that springs to mind, sorry to say. I am sure it will be for most people for many years to come too.

My first two thoughts are always of Mike Tyson and chicken, because of that, I don’t like it.
