I wouldn’t use Jenna and call her Jenny, just use Jenny in that case.

But we don’t want just Jenny as the first name. It sounds too much like a nickname. Besides, we want a fuller-sounding first name. We are also considering Jennirose, Jennmarie, Jenna-Rose, and Jenna-Marie. However, we thought that Jenna seemed a bit nicer.

I actually had a friend in high school whose full name was Jenny. You might as well just go with Jenny if you’re going to with Jenna and call her Jenny. I personally much prefer Jennifer and Jenna to Jenny.
