Simone vs. Marlena vs. Larkin

We’re narrowing down our little girl’s name, and could use some new opinions. Here are our top choices. She will be joining big brothers, Griffin and Paxton. Middle name for all of us is my maiden name (Eriksen) so the name needs to stand alone with our short last name, Hurd. Thanks for your input - new suggestions are welcome as well. Marlena (pr mar-LAY-na) - original German spelling is Marlene, but I’m afraid it will be pronounced mar-LEEN, which I do not like. I’ve also seen it spelled Marlaina or Marlayna but don’t want to ’make up’ a spelling. This name is somewhat significant because hubby’s deceased father was Mark, and my father is Karl. We like the nicknames Lainey and Marli. Larkin - I think this name flows well with our boys’ names, and is spunky and fresh. I worry that it may be too masculine? Also, not coming up with any great nicknames. Simone (pr si-MONE) Maren (pr MARE-in) Penrose - Traditionally a male name, but with ’Rose’ in it, we think it could be a good fit for a girl. Nicknames could be Posy or Rosie. Thanks, Karla & Josh

Help! I love the name Guinevere, but I can't think of a really good brother and sister name for her. Since Guinevere is so empowering, I want the next names to be powerful as well. Thanks, Genie!
Baby Name Genie:
You seek the Holy Grail of names. Let me help you in your quest. The brother of fair Guinevere will fight on foot with swords aplenty, but on his horse he'll surely lance a lot. Name him Edward for a regal name. A sister could be dubbed Katherine if greatness is what you desire.
