Birch is a little to close to B*tch don’t you think? I would hate for him to get bullied because of that. Also there are so many other negative or just plain weird connotations to Birch. Birch tree, Butch, etc. :(

I think Birch is better for a middle name. Kids can be so mean spirited, better to be safe, than sorry.
