I’ve heard both "add-ah(softer)-leen" (is that what you’re referring to?) and ah(harder)-deh-line

I think it’s an appropriate pronunciation but Adeline will still be mispronounced by about half the population because half will use the long A and half will use the short A. But it’s a nice name. Adelaide is a good option as well. Not a fan of Addison as it is a boy’s name (the ending "son" means "son of") no matter how many girls are being named that these days.

Adeline is beautiful. I’ve also seen the spellings "Adalyn" too! Just a suggestion.

Addison is way beautiful to me too.

Tough choice.

i like Adelaide best. i prefer Addison for a boy, and Adeline is going to get mispronounced all the time.
