Rachel since it’s more common and will avoid the pain and hassle for her!! I also just like the spelling better - it’s more simple, straightforward, and clean-looking.

i prefer Rachel, it looks better and will be the way most people will spell it, the extra a is just unnecessary.

I have always spelled Rachael like that...it just seems "natural" to add the a in there. Best of luck!

My name is Rachael and everyone spells it like Rachel. So do your kid a favor and name them Rachel. NOT Rachael. Everyone will misspell your daughters name and it’s NOT cool!
