It sounds like the name of a horse. I can’t believe how popular it has become! If someone would have told me a decade ago that Penelope would become a trendy name I would have laughed.

It’s ok. I have a friend named Penny. No one ever calls her Penelope. I have never even asked her if that’s her full name but it must be. However I like the nickname Ellie better!
