Opinions on vs. Andyn Case
I love the name that I have picked out. Andyn Case will definitely not be changing. But, I am open to any other spellings for these names, just looking for something unique but not too odd. I have thought of spelling "Case" with a "K" instead but I am not too sure. I have also considered spelling Andyn a different way also, just don’t know how I would spell it. Any suggestions or opinions would be nice!

Can’t help you. Andyn sounds like "And then" and I really don’t like it. Unless you mean Andy, which is adorable.

Assuming (and really hoping) this is for a boy, I think Anden or Andon would look nicer than Andyn. Anden and and Andon kind of look like surnames while Andyn just screams trendy, made-up 2010s name. I would leave the spelling of Case alone. Changing "C" names and in this case words to "k" words makes me think of the Kardashians.

I agree with poster #2 Anden is a MUCH better spelling for a made up name and do NOT use K instead of C. It’s trashy.

Poster 2: Thanks! My sister considered spelling Case "Kase" and I considered it, but I also thought the same of the Kardashians. I LOVE your suggestions of Anden & Andon! I really like Andon and so does my husband.

I agree that Anden is a better spelling. Putting a Y in there looks feminine to me. I think Case is fine with a C and I love the names Anden Case together. I think it’s a great name! GL

I’ve absolutely no idea what gender this is meant to be for. I would think boy, based on pronunciation, but with the spelling Andyn, I would question whether it was a girl. I definitely wouldn’t spell Case a different way as that would be make it appear more girly, unless that’s what you’re going for. Andon or Anden would be better if this is for a boy. Either way, I don’t like either name. It sounds super trendy.

I like it :-) Even if it sounds like "and in case" who really cares. It isn’t like that phrase is a huge invite for teasing. I like both the Andon and Anden spellings. Andyn looks a bit feminine. Case with a C is definitely best. Good luck and congrats!
