Abigail is very nice. No offense, but I really dislike Marley. Not only is it a dog’s name, it’s way too cutesy. Cutesy names short-change children as adults.

I really like the name Marley but I have a friend who named her daughter Marley and almost every time she introduces her, someone says, "Oh, like the dog?" Be aware that may be something you have to deal with if you go with Marley.

I agree that Marley is way overused as a dogs name unfortunately. Abigail is nice though. Maybe Annison as an alternative?
