In my area, it’s definitely Sydney that’s the most popular. Honestly, Stella and Sadie are both beautiful names and I don’t understand why the boyish Sydney is so popular! But I would pick Stella. Or Sarah with the nickname Sadie.

I’ve met three Stella’s so that is the most popular where I am, I haven’t come across any Sadie’s or Sydney’s’ though. I’m not really keen on any.

I vote for Stella or Sadie. I know quite a few Sydneys, of various ages. (I’m not a big fan of this name.) I have met only one Stella in recent years. She would be college aged now. I do not know anyone named Sadie.

Sadie is currently the most popular. Sydney is the most popular overall going back several years. Stella is the least common of the 3 but still fairly common.
