I think it sounds kind of stuffy, personally...and if he’s tall and gangly, he’ll probably get Abraham Lincoln jokes. I saw Abel on a poll the other day and really liked it. If you’re looking for the nickname Abe that could be a cool way to get it!

I always picture Abraham Lincoln when I hear the name. So it’s definitely historical IMO.

Meh, Abraham seems kind of dorky, to be honest. I like posters 3 and 6’s suggestions for Abel and Abram much better! They both sound stronger and more handsome to me.
