Hazel is on our top 10 list; however, I’ve been told it’s going to rapidly rise in popularity since a lot of people are using that name. I know several girls named Charlotte, but it’s a pretty name nonetheless. I’d go with Naomi! I love that name and would be using it for my little girl if my husband was on board. He doesn’t like it, though.

All names are pretty but everytime I see the name Naomi I cant help but to think of hearing guys refer to the girl named that as " I moan" (Naomi spelled backwards) :/

I chose Charlotte, but I must say I am finding that I really like the name Naomi. Hazel is the only one I have serious reservations about. I know it’s popular, though I can’t figure out how it started popping up all over the country, unless it was when Julia Roberts named one of her twins Hazel. To me, it makes a great dog name. Decades ago there was a TV sitcom called Hazel about a busy-body maid. She was annoying, as was her voice and name. I can’t get beyond that.

I like both Hazel and Charlotte. However, I really dislike the nickname Charlie for Charlotte, so to avoid that I would go with Hazel, which needs no nickname.
