Be really careful with this naming process. Keep in mind that you need something that’ll look professional and classy on a resume in 22 years. And spell the name properly. Looking at the names poster 1 listed, names like Benji, Hunter and Felix are questionable at best. What a 20-something or 30-something parent might see as cool/unique/edgy might not go over so well with a hiring manager decades from now.

Talk about fast feed back! Thank you so much ladies! All are marvelous suggestions and with our previous favorites our front runners are Emmett, Holden, Griffin and Wyatt!

We, both Kyle and I, as young professionals ourselves recognize that spelling and trying to be too unique with names (if there is such a thing) does have an impact on your child’s future; nonetheless thank you for the "timeless value of a name" reminder, we are totally on board! :)

Thank you again ladies and please keep the names coming! We love the feedback!

With our son we named him a more traditional name as a first name and his middle name is more unique for the above reason. We too thought about what his resume may look like in 20 years. He currently goes by his middle name but when he gets older and starts a career he has a choice of using his first name.
Good luck.
