Leighton vs. Leyton vs. Layton

I am having a son and can’t figure out how to spell his name. Please help!! We also need help finding middle names. Has siblings named Aria Grace (4) and Evan Daniel (2). We are thinking about Scott as a middle name but we aren’t sure.

We like those choices but I think that they’re a bit too old fashioned/formal for us, we’re looking for something a bit more daring but not too crazy weird or abnormal

I view "Leighton" as feminine due to Leigh and Lee. I vote for Layton as the masculine option.

I agree with the previous poster aboit "Leighton" being the more feminine spelling, I also voted for Layton.

Leighton is the way the female actress spells it so I’d count that spelling out. I chose Leyton because I have this irrational belief that e is more masculine then a.

Layton seems the most obvious and straight forward. Leighton looks girly, and I just feel like Leighton and Leyton may cause pronunciation issues.
