P.S. I also love the nn Bridie for Bridget, which is more common (or at least once was) in Ireland. ("bride + ee") My sister’s MIL is Bridie / Bridget. Just a thought.

My name is Bridget and I love it! I’ve always gone by either Bridget or Bee, although one of my trainers (for horse riding) in my teens called my Birdie bc it was her grandmother Bridget’s nn. I definitely encourage you to use the name! I think Bridget Shiloh sounds pretty.

I like Bridget. My favorite nickname is Bridey, but Birdie is cute too. Belle is nice, as well. I’ve never liked Shiloh for girls, though. It seems extremely masculine what with the Civil War connection and all.
