We are expecting twin girls (our first children) and we really love the names Henley Mae and Ridley Alexandra, but we have gotten mixed reactions from family and friends so we wanted to ask more people. What do you think of our names?

I don’t care for either name. Instead of Henley, how about Hadley? Alexandra is pretty as a first name.

Of the suggestions above, I like Hadley and Kelsey. I would keep your middle names, they are pretty! You could do Hadley Alexandra and Kelsey Mae.

I actually like the names Henley and Ridley. It might get interesting when teachers or job reviewers see their name on a list and don’t know whether they are boys or girls, but if you are happy to help them negotiate that challenge, I think they’re pretty. If you are feeling the sting of negative reactions from above, maybe try Henrietta or Harriet so you could still call her Henley and Riley instead of Ridley.
