Madden Fox vs. Yes vs. No

This is a name that we absolutely adore, but I wonder what others think, too! I wanted a name that was unique, yet "cool". I am aware of John Madden and Steve Madden, and it still doesn’t bother me. We didn’t chose the name because of these people, however, we are football fans, so its not a big deal. Thoughts?

I voted no only because Madden Owen has the same ending to the names and doesn’t flow the best. It sounds choppy to me. GL

It is a little too NFL for me. John Madden and John Fox, head coach of the Denver Broncos. plus I don’t think Madden flows very well with Owen.

Madden Fox sounds like you are maddening a fox. Madden and Owen have the same ending, so it’s choppy and they don’t complement each other.

I don’t think I can change Madden, I just love it far too much. I am willing to change the middle name though. Any suggestions? Thanks for your opinions!!!

I voted yes as I really like the name, but then noticed that Madden and Owen are kinda rhymey - I’d suggest Maddox as an alternative, but then you have the same issue with Maddox and Fox. Maddox Wolf maybe?

I dunno, if you truly can’t let go of Madden then Madden Owen isn’t the worst thing in the world

I think Fox is a cool middle name but Madden is a word meaning to anger, to infuriate or to make insane. That’s definitely not something I’d want to be associated with my child.
