Carly Yes? vs. No?
Does this name sound like a good name for the nickname Scarlett? Carly sort of sounds too nicknamish to me to stand on its own so I saw someone suggest this nickname for the name Scarlett and I really loved it. What are Your thoughts?

I think it is fine as a nickname and fine on its own. If you really love just Carly, go with it. If you love Scarlett with the option of Carly for a nn, go with that. You can always call her Scarlett when you want and Carly when you want to. Good luck!

I love the name Carly and while I don’t think it only works as a nn, I think it’s adorable as a nn for Scarlett!

Thanks! I LOVE both names so I thought this would be a good solution. What does everyone think of Scarlett Dianne, nickname Carly? And yes I would probably call her both Scarlett and Carly sometimes.

Carly is super nice to me, so i say go for it! Don’t care for Scarlett, but if you like - that’s a good solution. GL!
