Brooklyn vs. boy middle vs. ideas

I know Brooklyn is super popular now (ugh) but I’d want to use it on a boy. This poll is just sort of hypothetical right now, by the way. I think Brooklyn is strong enough for a boy to handle too. Just like London or Memphis. If I didn’t use Brooklyn I’d use Croydon perhaps. My ideas are in the range of Brooklyn Frederick or something but I’d love to hear your ideas however traditional or kooky they are, it could be Brooklyn James or Brookyn Rocket! Haha. Please and thank you! Tell me whatever ideas come to your head! 💙💎

Since Brooklyn Beckham has the name, you’re good to go without teasing. I always thought the name was more boyish than girlish anyway. I think Brock is also a nice nicknmae.

I don’t think Brooklyn works for a boy. I think he would feel super awkward be called Brooklyn (insert you last initial) with a bunch of girl Brooklyns. just my opinion. You could always use Brooks.

Brooklyn Thomas
Brooklyn Asher
Brooklyn George
Brooklyn Hayes

I’m not a huge fan of Brooklyn (for either gender). But I much prefer it to Croydon. I agree with the first poster basically.

I think a boy named Brooklyn can last. He could go by Brooks if his full name is Brooklyn James. Brooklyn Beckham can handle the name (though being a celebrity helps a lot). I actually like it for a boy better than a girl.

I think Brooklyn would have possibly made a good boy name, but because there are sooo many girls named that, I think he may feel anxiety over it. (like Blair, Peyton, etc.) I’m not extremely turned off by Croyden..I looked it up: A large town in South London. Sounds masculine. How about Sheffield, Bradford, Leighton, Brighton?

I really like the name Brooklyn for a girl and Brooks for a boy; however, I don’t think that was one of your questions.... Lol!

I am bad a middle names, so all I have left to say is congrats and good luck!

Brooklyn is too feminine for a boy, in my opinion. The -lyn kind throws it off(just Brook or Brooke would too...) If you like it, go for it though! Here are a couple of names that are similar and there is some middle names too!

Bradley
Brandon
Brennan
Barry
River?(idk about this one)

Middle names:
Robert
Matthew
Lucas
David
Davis
Mason
