Questions vs. about vs. Daveney

I’m interested in the name Daveney for a girl but I have some concerns.I know it was used in the book/movie The Notebook.Does anyone know if this is how it was spelled in the book?Is there a better spelling?For those who haven’t seen the movie,how would you pronounce it?I want to make sure we/she wouldn’t have to be correcting people all the time.And then I would just like to know peoples general opinions of the name.Thank you for any help you can offer with this!

I would initially think it’s Dave-uh-knee or DUH-vay-knee.

I think how you want it pronounced greatly affects spelling options.

I like the way it looks. It seems like a surname. I’m not familiar with the name from the book or movie but it’s been awhile.

Daveney or Davanee. Personally I prefer Daveney. And I would pronounce it Deh-Vuh-Knee.
Is that right? I havent seen the movie or even heard of this name. GL
