Irish vs. Baby vs. Names

We love the sound of Irish names for our baby. They have to be pronounced like they are spelled though. We do not like names like Niamh (Neve) that are going to be mispronounced. They do not have to be strictly Irish we just like that style. ex. Aidan, Raelin, Killian, etc.

Caolainn is my favorite, but it will be mispronounced, so Caelan.
I also really like Aisling. But due to mispronunciation, I would spell it Ashling.

I would like to point out a few errors and concerns.
Shannon means old.
Maeve means intoxicated.
Carys is Welsh.
Caroline is French.
Owen is Welsh.
Idk what origins Carson and Jonas are from, but they certainly don’t sound irish to me!

^^^previous poster, if you read my poll it says they do not all have to be Irish we just like the style of those names. If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything.
